Ali Raza Siddiqui


Ali Raza Siddiqui is a philanthropist and entrepreneur.  He is currently the Co-Chairman of JS Group, an international investment and industrial conglomerate with which he has been associated since 2005. Siddiqui led the effort to make JS Group a member of the World Economic Forum and participates actively in the Family Business Community especially to encourage philanthropic cross-pollination of ideas. He is also the Chairman of the Future Trust and Vice Chairman and CEO at Mahvash & Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation.  In 2016, Ali Raza Siddiqui established the Future Trust, a charitable foundation whose primary goals are to promote pure scientific research in Pakistan and use technology to tackle basic human development problems in Pakistan. Future Trust’s main focus currently is to build a Pakistan’s first Genomics center in collaboration with the National Children’s Hospital in the USA. The objective of this endeavor is to improve and create precision medicine for the South Asian population especially for cancer, but also for conditions such as diabetes.  The Mahvash and Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation, and Fakher-e-Imdad Foundation, his family's charitable foundations, make grants in the areas of education, healthcare, social enterprise and humanitarian relief.

Prior to 2005, he was an Assistant Vice President at AIM Investments in the United States, a wholly-owned subsidiary of INVESCO. At AIM, Mr. Siddiqui specialized in fixed income securities and was part of a team responsible for the management of over US $ 60 billion in assets.  Siddiqui holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell with double majors in Economics and Government. He is a regular speaker at various philanthropic, academic and finance forums and also serves as a Director on the Boards of EFU Life Insurance, EFU General Insurance, Fakher-e-Imdad Foundation and Pakistan International Bulk Terminals.
